18 Most Wanted Blogger Tools

How I Made Over $12,000 in my 8th Month of Blogging

We are talking blogger tools today, my friends!  Blogger tools are awesome productivity, organizational and monetizing tools that you will use to make running your blog easier, automate it, and make more money, among other benefits.

18 Most Wanted Blogger Tools

These top 18 most wanted blogger tools I have ALL personally tried myself so when I describe them, you know I speak from a place of experience.  Let’s start the roundup!

  1. Tailwind: My #1 resource for skyrocketing my blog as much as I have in a short time period (8 months).  I’ve gone zero to 6,700 Pinterest followers, zero to $1,000+ monthly income, and 37,000+ monthly page views thanks to Tailwind.  How it works? You sign up (psstt..there is a free trial), sync your Pinterest account, then setup your Tailwind pinning queue.  This nifty tool pins FOR YOU on autopilot!  You simply set what pins you’d like to pin at what time through Tailwind’s easy-to-use calendar and it runs automatically.  It takes an hour a week or less to set your pins for an entire 7 days or longer!  I was so impressed I actually bought a year upfront!  Give it a try!
  2. Bluehost: Some darn good hosting friends.  It’s super affordable and the easiest thing ever.  You can actually connect Bluehost and WordPress in a snap!  Check them out if you’d like to switch hosting or are in the market for starting a new blog!
  3. Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing: Ok, so monetizing your blog if kind of a big deal.  It might not be the sole purpose of blogging for all blogs but it is something that has definitely crossed their mind.  A great way to monetize your blog? Affiliate marketing, darling.  With affiliate marketing, you can promote products and services within your posts and all throughout your blog.  It’s a great source of recurring income and some programs pay A LOT, as much as $100s per lead or sale.  This course, Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing spells it all out for you! From Click Here this course is THE REAL DEAL!
  4. Pinterest Strategy Guide: Ok, so I mentioned Tailwind above, which is an INCREDIBLE Pinterest tool.  Beyond that cool tool, wouldn’t you like to know how to actually optimize your posts and blog for Pinterest?  How to get loads of followers fast?  And, how to get EVEN MORE traffic?  Meet Pinterest Strategy Guide! From five-figure per month blogger Rosemarie Groner, this guide will turn your heads.  I’ve used it to help skyrocket AND monetize my pins!  An amazing tool!
  5. MaxCDN: I haven’t talked very much about my CDN through MaxCDN.  It’s truly AMAZING. I had a lot of trouble with my blog being slow to start.  I ran all kinds of speed tests and got results that told me how to fix the speed issues but…it’s like reading another language.  Have you seen those speed test reports?  I have no idea what half the words mean, let alone how to implement the fixes.  Not interested in hiring a pricy tech person to fix my speed issues so I went with a CDN.  I first heard about them through Pauline’s blog,  TwelveSkip.  She talked about her experience and I was sold!  After setting up the CDN, the blog started loading lightning fast!  A must get tool and only $9/month!
  6. Canva: How do I put pretty Pinterest pinnable images and graphics in my posts?  I use Canva.  It’s free you guys!  There are paid versions and I actually use the Canva for Work paid version for just $12.95/month so I can upload my own fonts and IT.IS.TOTALLY.WORTH.IT! So easy to use. You won’t have to study a complicated manual or instructions, just start playing around. You literally can’t mess up, it’s so easy!  Try it out today!
  7. Crowdfire App: This free application helped me skyrocket my Twitter followers from 80 to over 1,400 in a short time.  It’s free and so easy to use.  It tells you what to do to get followers! How simple is that??  I use the app on my cell phone. It takes like 2 minutes to follow the steps I get from the app every day and I’m rewarded with tons of engaging followers. Score!
  8. Yoast SEO: This is an SEO WordPress plugin.  Free, my dear. If you know nothing about SEO, get this plugin today!  Set up keywords, XML sitemaps, and so much more. It’ll make your site search engine friendly.  Gotta get it friend!
  9. Bloglovin: A great social tool for getting inspiration.  It’s just like Pinterest for blogs.  I can literally browse Bloglovin all day long.  It’s so interesting to read all the different posts and you will get some great inspiration for new posts to create.  Make sure to add your blog too.  It’s a social network just like Facebook or Pinterest so you’ll want to have a blog profile for it.  Plus, they post your new posts to Twitter!
  10. Narrow: A really cool Twitter growth tool.  I just signed up after being on the several-month waiting list.  If I were you, I would check out this tool pronto.  It could get sold out again any day now!
  11. Facebook groups: THE place for getting your blog seen.  This was my sole strategy for the first few months of my first blog and I hit 10K page views in month 1!  Grab my FREE 75 Facebook groups PDF to check out which groups I belong to so you can join!
  12. Pingroupie: You find Pinterest group boards with this free tool.  Super easy to use!
  13. Boardbooster: Another awesome Pinterest automation tool but my recent discovery?  Their most popular boards to join page.  Who knew?  Search by category and view the most popular boards on Pinterest.
  14. Evernote: I continue to use this free app to jot down my ideas for EVERYTHING!  Blog post ideas, grocery lists, recipe ideas, things to do, etc.  The best tool for keeping me organized.
  15. Quora: Can you say free traffic?  Check out my video to see how I use traffic to drive tons of traffic to my blogs each month.
  16. Studiopress:  A killer theme is a MUST HAVE blogging tool. Check out the huge selection of gorgeous themes available at Studiopress and upgrade yours today!  Did I mention, it comes with Genesis Framework, a total must have for serious bloggers.
  17. Paid plugins: There a handful of must have PAID plugins that I highly recommend:  Social Warfare adds AMAZING social sharing buttons on your site. They are big, bright, and bold. Totally worth it and less than $30 a year!  Milotree is another one.  That little popup you see in the lower right hand corner of blogs showing a Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram profile.  That’s Milotree.  Grab your popup today.
  18. GIMP: I use Gimp 2.0 for all my cropping and editing of photos on my PC.  It’s a free download and much easier to learn than Photoshop. Plus, did I mention it’s free?

      Alexandra,
Ahh, you really should. It’s so affordable. I paid around $10/month (I paid a year upfront) and it has transformed my traffic. Pinterest is now my #1 traffic driver. It’s helped me quadruple my blogging income and it only takes like an hour a week, no joke. You can do it for any Pinterest account. I’ll shoot you over a $15 coupon in case you’d like to look at it further. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for your comments.
