It’s income report time and it’s my 9th month of blogging! The last day of January is here and I’m tallying up my numbers. How’d I do? I’ll show you the full income report including what worked and didn’t work, income sources, and more!
Ready. Set. GO!
WHAT WORKED
Ok, so in January, I was feeling renewed and I was ready to take my blog to the next level. I knew that if I wanted to get serious about blogging income that I had to focus on services and product sales so I did and I had my highest income month ever!
I actually spent very little time on social media including scheduling pins in Tailwind and I still had growth. Here’s where the numbers fell at the end of the month.
Ended 2,786
Ended 6,202
Ended 25
Ended 340

WHAT DIDN’T WORK
Not much. I published a handful of posts, focusing on promotion instead of churning out low quality, high quantity posts. All in all, I’m super thrilled with my efforts.
Now, onto income!

What is the Site Sale one? Does that mean you sold your website? If so, how does one go about doing that? I’m so curious about that one..
Hi Gin,
Yes, I sold my 1st blog. I sold through Flippa. It was a great experience. Check out my post about selling a blog, https://theintrovertedblogger.com/sell-blog-like-pro/
Thanks for your comments. Reach out if you have any questions.
Congrats! What does “site sale” mean though?

Congrats on selling your blog. That’s awesome I saw it earlier today with someone else and I got confused. Now, it all makes sense. Way to go.
Thanks Debbie. Sorry for any confusion. Thank you for the kudos, I appreciate it!
Very nice, Jenn! I keep meaning to add your new blog to my Feedly account. I didn’t realize you had sold your other one until the author name changed. You had a very successful sale!
Aw, thanks Kecia. Yes, I was very happy with it. Thank you!
You reference Freelancing in your Income Report. Would you please tell me what type of freelance work?
Also congrats on your site sale! Would you please tell me how long you had the site before you sold it? I’m about to read your post about selling site like a pro. My apologies if you answer that question in this post.
Thanks so much for sharing!
